Toronto, Canada – November 2025

East Optical is proud to announce the publication of two-year clinical data validating the long-term effectiveness of MyoPro® lenses in slowing myopia progression in children. These results, published in Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science (IOVS) and indexed on PubMed, demonstrate that MyoPro® continues to provide consistent, measurable outcomes after 24 months of wear.
Long-Term Results That Inspire Confidence
The two-year study, conducted at Wenzhou Medical University, builds on previously reported one-year results and confirms MyoPro®’s sustained effectiveness in controlling axial elongation — the key factor in myopia progression.
Children fitted with MyoPro® lenses showed:
– 67% slower myopia progression compared with single-vision lenses
– Up to 81.2% reduction in myopia progression in children aged 10–12
– 50% less axial elongation after two years
Importantly, children maintained excellent visual performance and comfort, with no adaptation issues reported during the study period.

About the Study
• Duration: 24 months
• Design: Double-blind, randomized clinical trial
• Institution: Wenzhou Medical University, China
• Participants: Children aged 8–13 years
This independent, peer-reviewed study strengthens MyoPro®’s position as a clinically proven, non-invasive solution for managing childhood myopia.

About MyoPro®
MyoPro® lenses feature 540 hexagonal micro-lenslets seamlessly integrated on the front surface, surrounding a small central clear zone. This innovative optical design creates a controlled defocus signal in front of the retina, effectively reducing axial elongation and slowing myopia progression over time.
